Flavorah oil-soluble concentrates can be used to create custom-scented body sprays and room mists. Our highly concentrated formula means a small amount delivers noticeable, long-lasting fragrance. While Flavorah products are primarily food-grade flavor concentrates, many DIY makers use them for personal fragrance and home scenting projects where food-safe ingredients are preferred.

Recommended Usage Rates

• Body spray: 0.5-1.5% in a carrier base (such as distilled water with polysorbate 20 for emulsification)
• Room mist: 0.5-2% in distilled water with a solubilizer
• Linen spray: 1-2% for stronger scent throw

Technique

For water-based sprays, combine Flavorah concentrate with a solubilizer like polysorbate 20 or 80 first, then add to distilled water. Shake well before each use since natural separation may occur. For alcohol-based sprays, mix directly into the alcohol carrier at 1-2% and allow 24 hours for the scent to meld.

Recipe Ideas

• Citrus room mist: blend Flavorah Lemon and Flavorah Orange at 0.75% each in distilled water with polysorbate 20
• Vanilla linen spray: Flavorah Vanilla Custard at 1.5% in an alcohol-water base for warm, comforting scent
• Tropical body spray: combine Flavorah Mango and Flavorah Coconut at 0.5% each in a light carrier
