Flavorah Concentrates for Massage Oils

Flavorah oil-soluble concentrates add pleasant scent to custom massage oils and beard oils. The food-grade, oil-soluble formula blends smoothly into carrier oils like sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed, and fractionated coconut oil without grittiness or separation. A few drops per batch create a subtly scented massage experience.  Some water soluble concentrates will function for the scent and top notes at low usage rates depending on the oil type used as your base.

Recommended Usage Rates

• Massage oil: 0.3-1.0% by weight (typical 0.5%)
• Body oil: 0.3-0.75%
• Bath oil: 0.5-1.0%

Technique

Add Flavorah oil-soluble concentrate directly to your carrier oil and stir or shake until fully blended. No heat is necessary since the oil-soluble formula integrates at room temperature. For beard oils, mix concentrate into the carrier oil before adding to a container and shake. Store in dark glass bottles to preserve the scent for long storage. Allow the blend to rest for 24 hours for the scent to fully develop and meld with the carrier oil.

Recipe Ideas

• Warming vanilla body oil: add Flavorah Vanilla Custard at 0.5% to jojoba oil for a comforting scent
• Citrus energizing beard blend: blend Flavorah Lemon at 0.3% and Flavorah Orange at 0.3% in grapeseed oil
• Tropical beard and massage oil: add Flavorah Pineapple and Mango at 0.5% to fractionated coconut oil.

Flavorah concentrates are food-grade flavor products, not essential oils. They provide pleasant scent but are not formulated for therapeutic aromatherapy.  The can be used along side your favorite therapy grade essential oils for the perfect experience. Always perform a skin patch test before full use.
